· Morning: Gitgit Waterfall

o Leave your accommodation early enough to reach Gitgit Waterfall by 9am (if coming from Ubud, leave by 7am, from Seminyak would suggest 6.30am). The air is cooler, the trail is quieter, and you will have the waterfall mostly to yourself. Bring sturdy shoes, as the path can be slippery.
o Pro Tip: Bring a change of clothes if you plan to swim, and carry some small cash for local stalls or donations at the parking area.
· Late Morning: Tamblingan Lake

o From Gitgit, it is about 30 minutes to Tamblingan Lake. Enjoy a short canoe ride on the misty lake or take a forest walk. You will get beautiful, reflective water views before the midday sun gets too strong.
o Pro Tip: Hire a local canoe guide for a small fee. The staff will usually know the best angles for photos and hidden temple spots.
· Lunch Stop: Munduk Moding Plantation

o Head about 20 minutes to Munduk Moding Plantation, a stunning eco-resort and restaurant set on a working coffee plantation. Enjoy farm-to-table dishes, fresh mountain air, and sweeping views of the surrounding valleys and coastline. There is also locally grown coffee to sample.
o Pro Tip: an alternative lunch option is Warung Classic Munduk, a simpler local stop known for hearty Balinese dishes and rice terrace views.
· Early Afternoon: Brahmavihara-Arama

o After lunch, drive about 35 minutes down to Bali’s largest Buddhist monastery. Wander the peaceful grounds and enjoy panoramic views. Around early afternoon, it is quiet and breezy.
o Pro Tip: Wear respectful clothing (cover shoulders and knees). Sarongs are usually available at the entrance if needed.
· Mid Afternoon: Banjar Hot Springs

o Only about 10 minutes from the monastery, the hot springs are a perfect afternoon unwind. Relax in the warm, mineral-rich pools surrounded by lush greenery.
o Pro Tip: Avoid wearing jewellery as minerals in the water can tarnish silver. Bring a towel or rent one at the entrance.
· Late Afternoon: Lovina Beach
o Finish your day in Lovina. By late afternoon, the beach is calm and ideal for a leisurely stroll or a sunset coconut drink. Enjoy the more relaxed pace of Bali’s north coast.
o Pro Tip: If you would like an early dinner before returning to your accommodation, try Warung Ayu Lovina for grilled fish or Spice Beach Club for a slightly more upscale beachfront option.
· Suggestions for the day:
o Start early to avoid traffic and heat.
o Bring cash for small fees and local shops.
o Pack swimwear, a change of clothes, and a lightweight sarong.
o Bring a charger for your camera or phone – the views are incredible all day long.
o Be prepared for a longer drive back to southern accommodation (about 2.5 to 3 hours in the evening), but traffic is usually lighter after sunset.
o This is one of the longer full day tours, so expect it to take up to 12 hours.
o Reward your driver by offering meals and a suggested payment of around RP 1 million.
