If you get a chance, head up the west coast of Bali to Jembrana and check out the buffalo races. They are held on some Sundays in August and September. Yesterday's race was at Mertasari Loloan Timur circuit and started about 7am. Suggest staying in Negara the night before as the road up (Jl Raya Denpasar-Gilimanuk) is not for the faint-hearted! #BalineseCulture #balilife #bali #makepungjembrana
