3-Day Adventure Seekers Itinerary

Group of adventurers rafting on the Ayung River in Bali surrounded by lush jungle, part of a 3-day Bali adventure itinerary

Day 1: Chasing Waterfalls and Jungle Vistas

Arrive in Bali and make your way north to Munduk, a misty highland area filled with coffee plantations, clove trees, and waterfalls. Check into Munduk Moding Plantation, a boutique eco-resort with sweeping jungle views. After settling in, head out for a half-day trek to Banyumala Twin Waterfalls. The trail is adventurous but manageable, with lush scenery and photo-worthy cascades.

In the late afternoon, visit a local coffee plantation to see how Bali’s famed beans are grown and roasted. Enjoy a tasting session overlooking the valley. End the day with dinner at your resort’s restaurant and an early night—tomorrow’s adventure starts before dawn.

Day 2: Mount Batur Sunrise Trek and Hot Springs

Rise around 2:00 AM and transfer to the base of Mount Batur for a guided sunrise hike. The trek takes about two hours, and you will reach the summit just as the first light creeps over Lake Batur. Enjoy a basic breakfast of boiled eggs and hot tea at the top.

After descending, soak in the nearby Toya Devasya or Batur Natural Hot Springs. The warm mineral-rich waters help relieve sore muscles. On your way back, stop for a hearty lunch in Kintamani with volcano views. Optional add-on: an afternoon ATV tour through local villages and forest trails.

Day 3: White Water Rafting on the Ayung River

Spend your final day in Ubud for a thrilling rafting trip down the Ayung River. Paddle past lush jungle cliffs, hidden waterfalls, and stone carvings. Most trips take about 2.5 hours and include hotel pickup and lunch.

After freshening up, you can squeeze in a massage or last-minute souvenir shopping before heading to the airport.
